Luminescence Laboratory

Luminescence measurement systems located at the laboratory can be used for both Thermoluminescence (TL), Optically Stimulated luminescence (OSL) and Radioluminescence (RL) measurements. Luminescence from natural and artificial materials can be read and characterised for personal dosimeter, geological and archaeological dating purposes. Furthermore, the systems can be used to study the defect structures and involving TL/OSL mechanism in solids by the investigating their luminescence emissions after UV, X-ray and beta irradiations.
