Mission
To develop and apply new methods and techniques by following the developing science and technology in the field of nuclear sciences, to conduct postgraduate education, training and research for the benefit of universal science and society and to increase the qualified human power in this field.
Vision
To be an institution that follows the developments in the fields of nuclear sciences, technologies and applications, conducts interdisciplinary national and international researches and cultivates the human power that the country needs. Our institute, which has a research infrastructure in nuclear field, consisting of teaching members and students from various disciplines, provides postgraduate education. Our Institute significantly contribute to meet the needs of the country in terms of laboratory facilities by both trained staff and research potential.
Our Institute has started its activites with a small staff in 1986 and continues its acitvities with 31 academic and 6 administrative staff members, 22 of which are teaching members. Since 1986, when the graduate education and training was started, 263 Masters, 94 PhD degrees of total 357 graduated students have been awarded.
